Donate Blankets, Clothes, and Canned food to Gaza from Amman

Via Tala,

guys at 7iber.com and action committee are working together to collect donations that the Hashemite Charity Commission will deliver to Gaza , if you read this please spread the news , tell your friends, family , university colleges , and any one you might run into.

From Tala:
"
People.

There is a 48-hr campaign that will start Tomorrow to collect Blankets, Canned Food, and Clothes for Gaza. It is organized by Action Committee and 7iber . I don't have further details yet.

All details will be announced on the the Black Iris & I quote :

The people at 7iber and the Action Committee are organizing an emergency clothes and food drive for the people in Gaza.

It’ll be a 48-hour campaign starting tomorrow morning, with the goods being delivered to Gaza by coming weekend.

This is all going to be driven through the virtual community, with contributions of Jordanian bloggers and their readers, as well as Facebook, emails and just about anyone connected online. It’s the fastest way to spread the word in a short period of time.

Right now, this post is under construction, with this preliminary message designed to get you in the right frame of mind and prepared. For starters, we’ll be looking for canned goods (no meats) as well as blankets and jackets (in good condition). So start putting those things by your front door (preferably in boxes, if not, then double bagged). We are going to try and mobilize and get this off the ground as quickly as possible, as time is of the essence.

The logistics and the details are forthcoming, and will be posted on 7iber accordingly. You can also check here for updates.

Stay tuned!"

I wish we could do more than this !!

The Little Green Blinking Light.

Ever noticed the rush that this little green blinking light residing on the front panel of your PC runs into you while it is running, it just keeps going on and off all the time, trying to call you and say "Yo , am here ,i am alive,i am moving, just go on , do whatever it is you were doing and never mind",this kind of rush is what makes you feel safe, my computer is doing well, it gave me the sign, it whispered to me that everything is gonna be alright.

Now imagine the fear you encounter the moment you look at this light to find it OFF , "oh my god , something is going wrong, this little thing inside is not working well,am loosing all my work , i need to do something about this",you just stand still, seize your progress, and start whining about how bad your luck is because of this -yet to come-great loss.

Ironically , nothing is actually wrong , it is just that this LED was accidentally exposed to a high voltage that caused it to breakdown , hence , it is not glowing anymore, and all other things under the hood are simply doing great, reads , writes ,control signals all are fine, you just panicked because of a silly malfunctioning indicative light, hooray , you are back to the safe zone again.

next time i will make sure my very own little blinking light is functioning the way it is supposed to do, it will save me the hassle of making every one around me swamping in a circle of panic.

Little things that matter

Lately i have been feeling tensed,

i have a lot going around nowadays, i am running late on almost everything that i am supposed to do,i have lots of vague visions for my future plans, and i am acting really weird for some unclear reason, everybody is starting to feel that something is going on the wrong way with me.

i am awkwardly nervous, tough to talk or even relate to,i hope this will seize sometime soon.

The thing is, it is not unaccomplished duties that are turning me to this freak nervous dude, and it is not my fear of the upcoming future that makes my head thinking like 24/7, it is the new things that i lately found about myself, little things that made me rediscover myself.

those little things do really matter.

Best friend

it is really shocking how those who claim to be your so called "Best Friends" , those who keep telling you they understand you the best , tend to hurt you without even showing any kind of sorriness , and just leave you without saying anything ,

Looks like there is no such thing called "Best Friend"

My IEEE Experience

It has been almost a year now ,

it was exactly 10 months ago when i started working as an IEEE officer at JU student branch , the most active , fun , professional and creative student branch here in Jordan , i really didn't realize ten months ago how fun this will turn out to be.

it all started when my dear friend Ramy and i were having our "Iftar" together last ramadan , when he told me that JU student branch will be back into business this year , after it faced some troubles last year with our university's Deanship of student affairs.

so , we started to form a team , with Ramy leading the branch as the chair , Waleed Tuffaha the Vice chair , me being the secretary , and later on mohanad Abdel Aziz running treasure's position , after that the real work begun , we had lots of paper work to do , Annual plans , new committee reports , meetings and interviews with our student branch councilor our CPE head of department and former IEEE student branch officers , especially our great adorable helpful friend Tala .

an exciting year of accomplishments started , starting with our introductory lecture , then our Lego league trip , our Floss week , technical workshop , much and much more activities , and most of all FUN.

i don't know why i am blogging about this today , maybe it is just now that i realized i will never get the chance to have this fun again , maybe it is because nowadays i am too busy to do any thing other than working on my project and keeping on with my training , and maybe cuz today we officially handed the branch to be lead by new ambitious volunteers full of exciting ideas to be done for the next year , just like we did last year .

i wish my team and i can get the chance to work together in the forthcoming years , on both fields voluntary or into real life business , for the time i spent with them , was really the best time ever ,

So thank you all , Ramy , waleed , Mohanad , Fatima , Haneen , Rasha , Rawan , Zayed , Ehad , and my dear friend , Mizo , wish you all best of luck in the coming years.
